Happy Birthday Warren Spahn (Wherever You Are!)

April 23, 1921 marks the birthdate for Hall-of-Famer and renowned southpaw Warren Spahn. A hero of my own baseball youth spent in Hartford, Connecticut, Spahn was the smoothest looking lefty I ever witnessed--that is, until I had the chance a half-century later to watch Faustino Corrales.
